Privacy Policy
Last updated June 15, 2026
DUZZ ("we", "us") builds study tools that help students prepare for business and entrepreneurship competitions. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
Information we collect
- Account details you give us, such as your name, username, email, and school.
- Chapter location (the city of your DECA chapter), when provided. It is stored and may be displayed as a city on a public map showing where students use DUZZ. This is city-level only - never a street address - and is based on opt-in Chapter Location data.
- Study activity you create in the app: practice tests, roleplay scores, flashcard progress, written drafts, XP, and missions.
- Messages you send to our AI study assistant so it can respond and so you can revisit the conversation.
How we use it
We use your information only to run and improve the study experience: saving your progress, generating practice material and feedback, and keeping you signed in. We do not sell your personal information.
Your rights & deleting your data
You can delete everything DUZZ has stored about you at any time. Open Account → Delete my account in the app to permanently erase your profile, progress, saved chats, and settings. You may also contact us at support@duzz.us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. California residents have these rights under the CCPA, and we honor them for every user regardless of location.
Children's privacy
DUZZ is built for high school students. If you are under 13, please use DUZZ only with permission from a parent, guardian, or school.
