No. DUZZ is an independent study tool built by DECA alumni. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by DECA Inc. Event names, clusters, and rubric structures are referenced so your practice matches the real thing.
Which events does it cover?
All 27 roleplay events (Principles, Individual Series, and Team Decision Making) and 23 written and pitch events across Marketing, Business Management, Finance, Hospitality & Tourism, Entrepreneurship, and Personal Financial Literacy.
What's free, and what's Plus?
Guides, 10-question practice tests, roleplay scenario practice, live class games, and the shop are free. DUZZ Plus adds the AI judge (recorded roleplays and written grading), full-length exams, and the Written Plan, study, and presentation tools. See pricing.
How does my chapter or advisor get on?
Advisors request access from the For schools page. Once provisioned, they create a class and share a six-character code. Students enter it on their dashboard and are in, with Plus included.
How does the AI judge score me?
Each event's actual evaluation form is loaded: the performance indicators, the 21st-century skills, and the overall-impression points. You present, the judge asks follow-ups, and you get a score out of 100 with notes on each line of the rubric.
What happens to my camera and voice?
Your camera feed stays on your device. It is there so you can see yourself present, and it is never uploaded. Your speech is turned into text and only the transcript is sent to be scored. Details are in the privacy policy.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. duzz.us works in any modern browser, phone included. Your progress, coins, and characters follow your account, so you can practice on a laptop at school and review flashcards on your phone that night.
